The Kuddlemee Affix was registered with the Kennel Club in 1998 and was jointly owned by Irys Hows and Shirley Winch for their Dandie Dinmonts and Parson Russell Terriers
In May 2000 Buttercup had the first litter of Kuddlemee puppies, and Thistle became the first Kuddlemee show dog in the following November
In 2001 the Kuddlemee affix was taken over by Irys and the Dandies, while Shirley and the Parsons became Mudlarx and can be seen on their own site at http://mudlarx.freeserve. co.uk
At Windsor Championship Show Thistle qualified for Crufts and in March 2002 she became the first Kuddlemee bred dog to be shown at Crufts and won a third in the 'Open Bitch' class, beating her Mum, and automatically qualifying for Crufts 2003
In December 2001 Buttercup won the Bitch Challenge Certificate at the Ladies Kennel Club show under judge Ken Bounden thereby qualifying for Crufts for life
In January 2003 Buttercup produced Gershwin who will hopefully become the first Kuddlemee show DOG
After the birth of Gershwin it was decided to let Buttercup enjoy a happy retirement, so Forgetmenot was bought in to accompany Gershwin to the shows
